The Winner’s Circle Part 5
Ephesians 2:12-13 (Phillips) You were without Christ . . . You had nothing to look forward to and no God to whom you could turn. But now, through the blood of Christ, you who were once outside the pale [the covenants of promise] are with us inside the circle of God’s love and purpose.
Everything changes in the circle. God treats you the same way He treats Jesus. He sees you the way He sees Jesus.
Finding My Identity in Christ
Romans 8:30 (Lovett) He [God] justified them [us], making them as righteous as Jesus. Beyond that He glorified them, making them partakers of Christ’s glory.
Same righteousness. Same identical standing with God.
John 17:22-23 (Last Days Bible) . . . I have given them the same glory that You gave Me, so that they may truly be one . . . in order that the world will definitely know that You sent Me, and that You love them just as much and to the same extent that You love Me.
Same love. Same glory. Same relationship with the Father.
1 John 4:17 (GN) Our life in this world is the same as Christ’s.
Same joy, same peace, same goodness, and same faith (Galatians 5:22-23).
Romans 5:2 (Freedom Dynamics) In this relationship the Father considers us just as deserving of His goodness as Jesus His Son. This stimulates us to discover more and more of God’s dynamic purpose in our lives as His plan for our freedom unfolds.
This means that God will answer your prayers just like He would answer Jesus’s prayers.
John 14:12 (TLB) In solemn truth I tell you, anyone believing in me shall do the same miracles I have done, and even greater ones, because I am going to be with the Father. You can ask him for anything, using my name, and I will do it.
Romans 6:4 (KJV) We are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
This New Life Must Become Believable
Philippians 2:5 (KJV) Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.
. . . adopt the mind-set of Jesus the Anointed. Live with His attitude in your hearts. – The Voice
. . . This is how you should think among yourselves – with the mind that you have because you belong to the Messiah, Jesus. – New Testament for Everyone
- I am loved, accepted, and forgiven.
- I am a victor, prosperous and a success.
- I am worthy, qualified, and righteous.
- I am free, delivered, and healed.
- I have the same righteousness, love, faith, peace, and joy.
John 11:40-44 (NIV) Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.” When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” The dead man came out.
Romans 6:11 (Johnson) Just as Christ died and came to life, consider yourself dead to the life you lived when you were estranged from God but alive now to Him and a new way of life through Jesus Christ.
