Hello Strong Faith Family,

We want to highlight some amazing events
and resources available to you!

IT’S IN THERE!

Pastor David began a new series about what Christ purchased for us through His death, burial, resurrection and ascension or all that He accomplished for us from The Cross to The Throne. When pastor said that “the mystery which is now revealed to God’s people” is that everything you need is in you in Christ, the phrase “It’s in there!” popped into my head. That’s from an old TV commercial for Prego pasta sauce. An announcer said, “What do you want in your spaghetti sauce?” Then a voice called out, “Sun-ripened tomatoes,” to which the announcer replied, “It’s in there!” Then another voice said, “Fresh basil” . . . “It’s in there!” Then, “Garlic” . . . “It’s in there!” And on and on down the list. Whatever anyone asked for the response was, “It’s in there!”

Now here’s some really good news: Because Jesus lives in you, you can see the glory of God revealed in every area of your life. Whatever you need, in any situation, “It’s in there” (in you, in Christ)! Faith . . . It’s in there! Joy . . . It’s in there! Love, wisdom, peace, health, patience, discernment, self-control, etc. . . . It’s in there! Praise God, it is so much easier to release something you already have within you than to try to go get something you don’t have.

Since Satan can’t stop anyone from receiving Christ and being born again, he puts all his effort into trying to prevent Christians from maturing and enjoying who they are and what they have in Christ. The devil is constantly telling you, “It’s not in there;” that your answer is not in you. To combat his lies, read Paul’s epistles to find out (or remind yourself) who you are in Christ and confirm this truth: “It’s in there!” Then release all that is in you by praying in The Holy Spirit and proclaiming (speaking out) what you have already obtained through Jesus’ death, burial, resurrection and ascension. Amen!

Cross To The Throne

The work God did in His Son was not for Jesus, but for all people. He was not perfecting Jesus; Jesus was already perfect (full-grown, complete). He was perfecting us in Jesus. The Gospels are like a photograph. They show us what happened to Jesus. The Epistles are like an x-ray. They show us what happened in Jesus and in the saints (us, believers) through Him.

Colossians 1:26-28 (AMP) The mystery of which was hidden for ages and generations [from angels and men], but is now reveled to His holy people (the saints). To whom God was pleased to make known how great for the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ within and among you, the Hope of [realizing] the glory. Him we preach and proclaim, warning and admonishing everyone an instructing everyone in all wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God), that we may present every person mature (full-grown, fully initiated, complete, and perfect) in Christ.

Jesus’ mission was to produce a harvest of people born after the Christ-Kind, a new breed of humanity. When you are united to Christ you are no longer only human; you have been recreated in His image. God now wants to (and will, if you believe that He wants to and can) do in and through you what He did in and through Jesus. Amen! What you need to effect this change in your life is more of The Holy Spirit. As you read the Bible, pray in The Spirit and receive the truth of The Word through listening to Him. Jesus said:

John 16:13-14 (CW) When the Holy Spirit comes, He’ll begin teaching where I left off and will share with you more and more truth . . . . He’ll carry on My mission and help you to see things more clearly.

The Pauline Revelation – what Paul wrote in his epistles inspired by The Holy Spirit – finishes the teaching Jesus began about the revelation of the riches of God’s glory. Paul’s writings allow us to “put on God’s x-ray vision” and see all that He accomplished (completed, perfected) in His Son for us.

God’s kingdom operates by laws (universal truths). He is systematic – just look at nature. You cannot operate in God’s kingdom, in His System of Truth, if you don’t know It. Get into The Word and pray in The Spirit and learn God’s ways; His system. The System of Truth starts with (1) a revelation of spirit, soul, and body. (2) An understanding of the laws if identification. (3) A look into the mystery of The Cross to The Throne, which is all that Christ conquered for you on earth, in hell, and in heaven!! Pastor David will be expounding on these three things through the rest of this series. I am really excited to hear this teaching, aren’t you?
