The Winner’s Circle Part 2

The Winner’s Circle Part 2

The winner’s circle is where victors go, after they’ve won, to be recognized and to receive rewards. Palm Sunday starts the passion week! Every victory Jesus secured he secured for us! His victory was our victory! The secret to Christianity is found in the past tense of God’s Word.

Ephesians 2:12-13 (Phillips) You were without Christ . . . You had nothing to look forward to and no God to whom you could turn. But now, through the blood of Christ, you who were once outside the pale [the covenants of promise] are with us inside the circle of God’s love and purpose.

You are a victor, prosperous, and a success

2 Corinthians 2:14 (New Life) We thank God for the power Christ has given us. He leads us and makes us win in everything. He speaks through us wherever we go. The Good News is like a sweet smell to those who hear it.

Romans 8:37 (Freedom Dynamics) In all these things Jesus our great leader has established us as invincible champions through His amazing provision for us.

Satan lies to us. The devil’s deception causes us to search for fulfillment apart from God—in natural things. These “lies of the devil” are designed to keep us from living whole, healthy, happy, prosperous, and successful lives.

The true you emerges as you conquer Satan’s lies. How?

Joshua 1:8 (NKJV) This Book of the Law [God’s Word] shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

The number one reason Christians walk in defeat and failure is because they maintain a wrong confession—a confession of defeat and failure. They continuously talk the problem; how the devil is keeping them from success, keeping them sick, broke, or holding them in bondage. As long as they continue to talk that way, according to Jesus, that’s what they will experience.

Matthew 12:37 (NLT) The words you say now reflect your fate.

. . . Words can be your salvation. Words can also be your damnation . . . . — Message

Proverbs 18:21 (KJV) Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

W. Kenyon said, “The reason the majority of Christians are weak, though they are sincere, is because they have never dared to make a bold confession of who they are in Christ.” We must agree with God using our mouth!

1 John 5:4 (KJV) “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”

. . . For “God’s heredity” within us will always conquer the world outside us. In fact, this faith of ours is the only way that the world has been conquered. – Phillips

You are the victor, so talk like a victor!

1 John 4:4 (Knox) You, little children, who take your origin from God, have gained the mastery over it, there is a stronger power at work in you, than in the world.

We must ask ourselves the question, “What road has my confession been building? A road to victory, prosperity and success? Or, a road to defeat and failure?” Have I been talking God’s truth or Satan’s lie? Get into God’s Word! Get into a Bible Study Group! Emerge!
